Respiratory Services

Many of our employees are currently or have been firefighters, so we understand the importance of having safe breathing air. While Metro Fire is relatively new to SCBA and Compressor distribution, our service model is the same as our other Core Product Lines, including dedicated vehicles, a large inventory of specialized parts, and factory-certified personnel for servicing Scott SCBA(s) and Arctic Compressors.

We operate our respiratory service program to assist our customers in following the guidelines set by NFPA 1852 and NFPA 1500. 

NFPA 1852 standards on Selection, Care and Maintenance of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).

NFPA 1500 respiratory protection program: Fire Department Occupational Safety and Health Program to reduce health and safety risks associated with improper maintenance, contamination, or damage.
